6 months used to drag on forever, this time I feel like I blinked and I'd been in a time warp that took me from the hospital in July to Christmas in Vancouver and now suddenly my newborn isn't a newborn, but a 6 month old, chubby, squishy, lovable baby girl.
She has 2 teeth.. TWO! Crying may or may not have ensued when the tooth discovery was made. The last baby with teeth at four months, it seems unfair.. an injustice so to say, her siblings waited until 8 months, much nicer.
She can sit up for a short amount of time, she sucks her two middle fingers to soothe herself, she lights up anytime Stella, Finn or Lily comes around, she laughs (though it's a hard sell to get her going) she smiles at anyone and everyone.. She squeals with delight and is generally a very happy baby.
If I could freeze her little had reaching back to touch my cheek every chance she gets I would. It's the sweetest part of every day.
We love her more than iPhones and hot chocolate. She has the sweetest little spirit and has brought an incredible amount of love and happiness into our home.
Here's hoping the next six months crawl along. I'm not ready for a 1 year old and if it goes as fast as the first six months... Ryan's really going to have to work hard to make sure I don't trick him into number 5... but really.. keep breathing Ryan, she IS the end :)

Yeah right! I will be waiting for the announcement of #5! :) She is darling! Now you need to make a trip to Utah so we can meet her.
She is so cute. I love the chalkboard with 6 months written in pink. It does seem like time has flown by. Enjoy her while you can.

Oh my goodness she is so cute! With her amazing cuteness, and how wonderful it sounds like your life is with her around... you almost make me feel like I could handle another one! ;)
