Today Ryan was looking for something on the blog. He came across a funny story about Stella when she was Scarlet's age. So Stella and I went through old posts reading and laughing and it made me sad that life has made blogging take a back seat. It really is a great way to document and I loved reading all the things I had forgotten about my kids along the way. So here's to more blogging. I'll start with January 12x12 even though it turned out to be January 11x12 with a lot of Bronco pictures to fill in the blanks.
Our morning started out with cute little Scarly. She's turned into quite the walker. She loves her shopping cart from Aunt Cami. Her hair has started filling in, this is new territory for me because it naturally stands straight up. I feel like she's too old to shave it off so mohawk it is.
I love that we captured Finn with Stella's pink DSi. He is awfully sneaky these days. We are always swiping ipads, phones, ds's and more from him. The kid would love to have a screen in front of his face 24x7 but I am determined to make sure that doesn't happen.
I may or may not have been sneaking Trader Joe's peppermint Jo Jo's on Saturday morning. I have carefully saved and rationed this delicious treat brought to me from a friend this holiday season.
Weather forecast on Saturday. It was SOOOO painfully cold. I am done with the cold weather and am looking forward to some warmer days ahead.
Saturday was very much a Broncos day. Never have I lived somewhere with SO much team spirit. Every car that passes, every person you see at the grocery store, they are all wearing Broncos gear. It is a little unbelievable.
Ryan lucked into some tickets and spent Saturday "working", I use the term working loosely, but in his defense he was entertaining some of his clients.
Ryan was prepared to brave the chilling temperatures. He claims he wasn't cold... he did have multiple layers on, but still... it was crazy cold.

While Ryan braved the chilling temperatures, the kids and I stayed warm at home! We made Lily's poster for her Activity Days Recognition Night we had on Sunday.
After the game, the wives met up with the game-goers for Dinner. The scene that greeted me when I walked through the doors was the entire staff watching the game intently in double overtime.
It was a sad loss for the Broncos. Maybe next year...
We finished the night off with a yummy dinner at The Capital Grille.
An exciting day in the life!
