Finn turns 4!!

Finn's birthday celebration started on Thursday. He brought a treat with him to preschool. Leave it to Eileen's cookies to save my bacon. They free-handed Jake and Skully on to a 14" chocolate chip cookie and Finn could not have been happier.

Today we woke up and told him he was going to pick up his friend Josh and go to breakfast. This is a boy who LOVES pancakes.

After breakfast Ryan took them to Chuck E. Cheese. The plan was to be there right when it opened to avoid the Saturday rush. They had about an hour and 15 minutes with the place pretty much to themselves.

Finn always wants to go to Chuck E. Cheese so this was a perfect way to start his birthday.

While the boys were away, the girls were busy decorating and shopping. We put up streamers.

Lily and Stella cleaned his room and put up jagged "pirate streamers" all on their own.

He opened presents. Jake and Skully from Stella.

He had a chocolate/chocolate chip birthday cake with FOUR candles. Chocolate is his favorite, so it was perfect!

I can't believe he is FOUR!! What happened to my baby boy?

    

I think it's safe to say, he loved all his presents. We will finish off his birthday with dinner at Grand Lux and a PIRATE Playgroup on Wednesday.
